Not sturdy and incorrect partsTulikaThe bed frame is not at all sturdy and have parts that are smaller than the actual required length. On placing the mattress some of the parts are shifting even when everything is tightened

absolutely awful qualityJuniperrecently received this as a housewarming gift from a friends mother. I hate to be an ungenerous person, as she was trying to help us out and I cannot fault her for that. but the construction is INCREDIBLY shoddy. within 2 weeks it's fallen apart just as many times, and with no store in our area we're functionally out of luck getting a return.

Already falling apartAnnI am very disappointed in this bed frame. I have put together many different pieces of Ikea furniture over the years and this one had the worst instructions to follow. Once the bed frame was put together we put the mattress on and have been sleeping on it for about three weeks, but noticed that the foot board is falling apart away from the side rails. We have to take the entire bed apart to reattach the footboard - hopefully. I would love to just return this item as it is a piece of junk! I do not recommend.
Wonderful furniture, nice and heavy feel…JeffOnly thing I don’t like is the instructions and pieces need arrows for up/down and numbers on them. It would make the install a lot easier and quicker.
Worst QualityDianaMy husband assembled our toddlers bed last night and bed broke this morning!!! Center beam broke the wooden section of the headboard. Very bad quality compared to other furniture pieces I have bought through the years! I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Horrible Bed FrameDonaldI bought this bed frame because it was appeared simple and easy. However, this was a piece of junk. The bed frame came missing without wooden slats, had to go find some to use. Second, even after assembling the bed together properly, laid down one time in the bed and completely sunk through the middle with just a little tossing and turning. Never buy this product.
Too complicated!SandraWAY TOO complicated to put together. My son use to be a professional mover and he had a hard time figuring out how to put this stupid bed together. Will never buy any thing that you have to put together yourself from this company.
Needs improvementJo3 stars because it is a sturdy bed, the design and faux oak is decent enough, and was easy enough to assemble.
Design-wise, not real impressed in person. They've made the headboard appear high in the product photos by using a very shallow bed. In reality, with a 5" foundation and a normal adult mattress, the headboard is covered by pillows and the design proportions are completely thrown off. They know this. Headboard needs another 6-12" height. It would probably be fine with a shallow mattress on just slats (like the photos).
The pressboard is fragile. I had an accident where a piece of metal rubbed up against the edge of the sideboard and it shredded like cardboard. It was my fault of course, and I was able to cover with paint, but was still pretty shocked at how easily it was damaged.
It's only $199 but that's a lot for a bed I'm lukewarm on. I should have listened to my instinct and got a second tonstad which is a great bed.
WonderfulBridgetDid not buy with slats because I have a box spring so I can’t comment on those but excellent bedframe- definitely need two people to help things line up properly but assembly was pretty easy/it’s sturdy. No squeaks when I toss and turn at night. Also bought matching nightstand and dresser and it looks like a Pinterest board.
