The material is solid and the build is clean. TBH, I think it's nicer than the basic set of cutlery at IKEA which sometimes come with sharp edges on the spoons and forks.5

So great for kidsLizI have four sets of this cutlery now. I got it first about three years ago when my first grandchild wanted grown up forks and spoons. I just bought more for my second grandchild. They last a long time, don’t scratch and keep their bright finish. Easy to clean, just toss in the dishwasher. The kids love them, they feel very grown up with their real cutlery. What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
