  • To ensure you are satisfied with the size of the rug once you get it home, we recommend that you measure the intended floor space for your rug before you buy it.

    You will need 1 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (5'5"x7'9") for this rug. Trim if necessary.

    The rug in the pictures may have a mirrored pattern compared to the rug you receive or bring home. This is due to the Wilton technique, which weaves two versions simultaneously, with reversed patterns.

    Care

    Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.

    Do not wash.

    Do not bleach.

    Do not tumble dry.

    Do not iron.

    Do not dry clean.

    Vacuum, shake and rotate the rug regularly.

    Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

    Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

    Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

    Always use the standard floorhead, never the rotating brush, when vaccuming the rug.

  • Use STOPP FILT anti-slip rug underlay under the entire rug for increased safety.This product has been tested for domestic use.

Intolerable odorValerieThe rug looks okay but even after being outside for days it still has an overwhelming headache inducing chemical smell. No idea why it would have such a strong sharp VOC odor, flame retardants maybe? Disappointed in IKEA for allowing any component that would cause the rug to have an intense persistent off-gassing reek.1
