Perfect FitCThis is a perfect fit for my small kitchen and because I have challenges bending. So I've put it on the counter and use my hand to press the "pedal" to open the can. It's small enough to hold my one day's garbage. And I like the green it comes in. I had purchased 2. One in pink. What a disappointment in that pink. Anyhow, I use that one to secure biscuits and crackers. Fantastic use. They both close firmly
