It’s A StoolDavidSturdy and stylish, so strong I can sit on it… and it keeps me up off the ground.5
Purple chairMichelle L.This one went together very easily. My students love it in my classroom.5
Green stoolMichelle L.I was not impressed with this one. The holes didn’t line up on part of the chair when we put it together. It was unable to be used.1
Wood and metal stoolTeriVery sturdy and easy to put together.5
Versatile & stableLeah S.Just purchased four of these to use at our game / craft table. They're both super cute and stable. Love that they stack to save space for when we don't need all four out. Would definitely purchase again.5
Looks and feels great, QC missKyleOf the two I picked up, one had two screws not fit and the other one screw not fit (misaligned hole / leg). Does not seem due to any damage to the item. QC needs to be improved. Still feels solid and stable though. Just not confident.3
So cute except...DilsahThis side table is so cute and easy to install!! However, the wood top did arrive heavily damaged with lots of scratches and discoloration so beware of that issue :(3
Sturdy!TerriI was surprised how sturdy this stool is.; however, I've decided to use it as a small side table on my patio. Bonus: it was on sale!5

Designer thoughts

It was love at first sight when Ingvar Kamprad saw a wooden chair in 1964 by a designer named Karin Mobring. With an eye for materials and a talent for designing comfortable furniture, she became the first female designer at IKEA. An example of her many years of work is the stackable JERRY stool, which was presented in our 1973 catalogue. In the Nytillverkad collection it is back with new colors under the name DOMSTEN. A true icon, just like its creator.
