Hard to closeStephanieWe built it and noticed after building it that one of the holes seem to be uneven so now our top shelf won’t open and close smoothly. Too much work to take back to ikea at this point. 1
Not for folks with large feet or tall shoesMorganAssembly was easy enough and the size was right for our entryway. The extra compartment is nice for storage. However between my women’s size 9 feet and my husbands size 10 feet, we were able to fit fewer shoes into the cabinet than I was hoping. His dress shoes were long enough that they prevented the cabinet from closing and had to go in sideways. Works best for sandals and low-top sneakers and shoes, not so well for boots or high-top shoes.4
Shoe cabinetTheresaThis shoe cabinet is good size and holds twelve to eighteen pairs of shoes. It took longer to put together than expected. And there were a few screws missing, but luckily, we had some leftover from a prior cabinet. It's not as wide as some of the others so it fit in a nook better, but it is a little taller and it's good to have the extra space or a basket for eyeglasses or keys or something, right near the door.3
Instruction is not accurate at all!BehrokhIt was very confusing to assemble. There is no number on the wooden pieces and the direction and pieces are not clear on the instruction. I needed to close and open the screws and pieces several times!2
Quality of product is poor. AkashAssembling the product is not as easy as given in the instructions. Screws and its wood is of very poor quality and it fell apart while assembling itself. I am already regretting it. 1
Responding to “I should’ve listened”JenniferIKEA you restored my love for your products and service! I (my husband!) returned the broken cabinet to the store and received a replacement without any incident. The second go around with putting it together was much easier (according to him) and it is no solidly functioning and filled with shoes! The only recommendation from my view is that it does need to be anchored to the wall because one handed access (as is usually the case as we rush out the door) can cause the whole thing to come with us! Thanks IKEA!!4
I should’ve listened!JenniferSpent a few hours building the base yesterday went to put in shelving today and the screws kept falling out. Now the hole in the particle board is too wide to hold - it’s really a great looking piece with smart accents (the moulding notch is very thoughtful!) but its whole and useless laying on my living room floor rn. 1
Love the size & design, but…AnastasiaFor a smart storage solution, this is a great size and will hold an abundance of shoes. However, before I even got the second pair of shoes in it, the hinge ripped out of the pressboard sides. The screw is way too short and the side panels are not sufficient to support the weight of the tilting drawers. Would have been willing to pay more for some that didn’t break before I ever got it loaded! Don’t know how to salvage it now, because I love the general idea and design. 3
Shoes do not stay putLindaGreat look, but the shoes slide all around when you close the cabinet.3
Looks great holds 18 size 8.5. Larger sneakers 12LoisEasy to put together. Needs to be anchored to wall. Got rid of door hanging fabric holder. Looks great im bedroom and take up a small space.5

Is as advertised LeeProduct is exactly as described. Relatively easy to assemble. My only complaint is that it has to be attached to the wall.5
Perfect Size!CourtneyI was looking for shoe holder and organizer that was both slim and not very deep because it would have to be put behind a door. It fits perfect! And it works great and looks fabulous! 10 out of 10 would buy again and probably will be. 😅5
Really GreatAmyThis was pretty easy to put together with a partner. Looks really great and I like that I have the option on where to put the divider in the shelves!5
ShallowRobertDoesn't fit anything larger than a men's 10 1/2. Also, how is this the one thing that doesn't come with wall mounting hardware?2
Awesome productPradeepValue for Money5
Great shoe storage.NancyLove the size and it's not very deep so fits in many places. We didn't realize it needed to be attached to a wall. Didn't come with the screws for it. Not sure if it was supposed to. 5
Easy to put together.DorothyLove the white color and fit into my space. The only change I made was got gold champagne handles to put on instead of the black ones.5
Love this product!ElexiusThis shoe cabinet is perfect! Its thin profile fits perfectly in our foyer and the cabinet holds full size men’s shoes. I wish I had bought this sooner.5
Design FlawsSeungAs other reviewers noted, the white round hinge to hold each compartment is fragile. Each compartment is quite heavy, and it is held by one hinge on each side (two hinges in total support one compartment). A very short screw is used for the hinge, which is screwed to the composite wood (low quality of wood). With mild use, the screw hole in the composite wood got bigger, and the hinge fell off. This could be easily improved with longer screws and two solid wood side panels with solid screw holes. I filled the broken screw hole with wooden toothpicks and screwed it again. Then it lasted for several months, but the screw hole got bigger again and the hinge fell off. 1
