AmazingBECKYI’m so glad I purchased this piece over the others I was looking at. Looks amazing in my space. It’s a little awkward to screw it into the wall while you have the drawers in place but other than that pretty amazing.4
Wonderful shoe storageKARENThis is perfect for ladies shoe storage. My size is is 8.5 and each draw fits 5 pairs of shoes comfortably.5
I love it!John H.I love it!5
It serves its purpose andJenniferIt serves its purpose and looks nice4
Perfect fit for our door shoe problemTishroxVery happy with the product. I will say my boyfriends size 12 are too wide to allow shoes next to them to be too large.5
Well suited to needsDanDFHave had for awhile now. Easy to assemble, does not take up alot of space. no complaints to design or materials. Not suited for any shoe that has high sides though. Very pleased with5
Spaces is way too smallJackie27jdNot enough space to put in shoes!!!!!1
Horrible qualityMgoinsI have put together multiple pieces throughout the year and this has been the WORST, poorly made product. From pieces that would not line up to screws that would not latch correctly and screw through the pieces (no power drills were used). The drawers broke by just opening them. After an hour to put together we just took it directly to the dump. What a waste of money. I took pictures but customer service could care less.1
Holds few adult shoesN1kn4m3The pictures for this product are extremely misleading. I expected to fit 3 pairs of boots and 12 pairs of shoes in this cabinet, but I could barely fit in 9 pairs total. The doors do not close when normal, adult-size shoes are placed on the shelves. The shelves are only 2 pairs wide as well. As a storage unit, this is not worth the volume of living space it takes up. I returned it immediately.2
Broke quicklyReformed YankeeThis looks great until the hinges break (within a week). If IKEA would fix the design flaw, it would be great.1
Looks good but poor designemily94My boyfriend and I bought ~$1,500 worth of Ikea furniture when moving into a new apartment in November. This is the only piece we regret. It looks good and fits well in the space, but it is very poorly designed. The screws which are supposed to hold the round hinges that the drawers turn on are incredibly short. As a result, two of the hinges have ripped out of the wood. The first one was while we were building the piece, and the second yesterday (after owning the cabinet for a month and a half). We've managed to fix both, but only by drilling all the way through the wood of the wall and using a nut and bolt. It's been pretty annoying because this whole process could have been avoided if Ikea had just provided screws that were a proper length. Another annoying detail is that this cabinet doesn't really fit shoes that are bigger than a Men's size 9.1
Well BuiltMiggy1980Happy with how sturdy the piece is and the fact that it sits flush with the wall. I wear a size 12 so I knew I would fit less shoes but it is much better than having them lines up on the ground. I use the shelf for my sunglasses.5
Disappointed for the first timeWilllow WeaverI am a big fan and have never regretted an IKEA purchase . . .until maybe this time. I like the styling and especially like the size. Tall and thinner than other shoe cabinets, it fits perfectly in my entry way. Unfortunately, it was nightmare to put together. Then almost as soon as it was upright, one hinge on one drawer ripped out. Another ripped after about a month of use, and a third after a few months. I rarely open the drawers more than once a week . . . it just seems like the screws are too short to get a good grip into the pressed wood of the thin sidewalls/ Once they ripped out the only solution has been to drill from the outside and use a bolt and nut through the wall to hold the draw in place and act as a hinge.2
Sturdy and spacious for a good price!Angel220fishAlready had this for about 4 months. We were able fit about 6-10 pairs of shoes each cabinet depending on the sizes of the shoes (e.g. flats, sneakers, trainers, flipflops, heels, etc.) I found that men's sizes shoes fit better in the bottom rack of each cabinet than the top, because they tend to be bigger and need more clearance to close the cabinet. Overall a great product without breaking the wallet, easy to build. You definitely/must secure this against the wall!5
