Wonderful StorageStephanieBrimnes bed has 4 large drawers that will store a great deal of clothing. We have 3 of these beds and love them! Bookshelf headboard will hold a lamp, alarm clock and several books.5

Abundance of storage in a small spaceAngel P.Took 1 star after over a year wait to get headboard & frame in matching color-I would have taken any color but never avail-finally just got what was available(gray HB,blk frame) & used contact paper(gold & gold frosted for drawers & insert accents). It took about 3 weeks to cover each piece & assemble solo (57/f)-use help if you can bc headboard really awkward until placed where you want it. Re storage-there is NO wasted space under bed! The drawers are large & enclosed,as opposed to similar beds I’ve seen online(from site that starts w A ends in N)that are open wire basket types. They open all the way, smooth roll/sturdy! In 4 drawers, I placed stuff from 12 drawers from former bedroom set with room to spare.Able to fish electric blkt cords thru base. See review on A****n site w my pics-search product B08SJHHX21. Bottom line: after a year of searching-this is by far the best bed/headboard at a fair price. I love it and even better w my modifications!4
Hard to build but worth itRUBENIt is as expected. The Brimnes bed frame took me a long time to build but it was worth it at the end.4
Very sturdyGrahamIt's beautiful and sturdy. We bought the enhanced slat set and are using our original mattress. Without the box spring the mattress seems softer; and, while the bed has the same footprint the room seems larger. The assembly instructions are easy to follow but allow plenty of time and plenty of room.5

Queen Bed Slats Fell ApartMARIA M.My daughter is a college student in AZ which is 5 hours away by car. We bought this bed for her last August and by December the supporting slats had fallen apart. I'm currently on hold with IKEA to see if they will send a replacement. She lives in an apartment and it would be very difficult for her to lift the mattress, and haul the wood slats back to the store for an exchange. I'm hoping the company will do the honorable thing and ship replacement slats so that she can have a decent bed to sleep on. For now, she is on a droopy bed. I will update the status after my call.3
SturdyJillOur new Brimnes bed is very sturdy. The drawers on each side are large and spacious. We opted for the headboard as well and it works great to hold our alarm clocks. The only negative of it has been once you anchor it to the wall, the plug ins do not fit within the opening to hide the cords.5

I can see why people complained about the assembly but here's a pro tip: Look up the item you're assembling on YouTube! I follow the instructions it comes with along with a real visual and audible explanation. So when I'm confused by the ambiguous pictures, I have the video to help clarify and it's a game changer. I took off some stars because the instructions themself are somewhat confusing. Good luck people.5
