I have already thrown 2 of the 6 away because not only do they stick together, they get chipped around the edges quite easily. I have never returned much if anything to Ikea over decades, but I would like to get a refund on these. Disappointed.1

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

That's why I chose to give them a classic design in which form and function truly go hand in hand. Since all the bowls have the same design but come in different materials and sizes, you can combine them in endless ways."
