Product details
Children's play can place tough demands on surroundings, something that also applies to rugs. That’s why the rug is made from durable, stain-resistant synthetic fibers which are easy to care for.
The rug dampens sound, provides a snug feel and is soft to walk on for both small and large feet.
The rubber backing keeps the rug in place when the child runs/plays on it.
We know that children are extra sensitive, but not to worry. This product has been tested and approved ‒ and is completely free from substances that may harm your child's skin or health.
The fabric in this product contains recycled polyester from ocean-bound plastic picked up from areas up to 31 miles inland from coastlines.
Many playrooms are in shared spaces, so a rug can help create a surface that clearly defines where the child's "playroom" is.
Goes nicely with other products from the BARNDRÖM collection.

Stains so easily KaleyThis rug is absolutely beautiful and I love the design so much, however it stains so unbelievably easy. This rug is in our babies nursery, which is a low traffic area and still stained. I have tried cleaning it multiple times and it's still completely ruined after minimal use. 2

I love the rug I just wish it was easier to clean. MarkThe rug is cute and works perfectly for my work area, but since my work area is accessible to my cats they make a mess of the rug. No, they're good cats, but they bring dirty feet all over it and love lying on it. I used a rug cleaner I normally use on the rug on my stairs that works well but it just spread the mess around making it look dingy. I took it to the tub and used a hard bristle brush and hot water to brush the hard-to-get-out dirt out of it, and it worked... but it's a lot of work for a $50 rug. Maybe if I had space outdoors to hose it down with a pressure washer and hang it to dry it might be different? But hand rinsing the rug in my bathroom is a bit much. Considering this is sold as a kid's carpet and I'm sure parents would really like to keep the rug consistently clean, IKEA should reconsider the care of this rug. Make it machine washable, dry cleanable or make it more resistant to dirt - I don't mind vacuuming but vacuuming barely scraped the surface of dirt. 3
