Want to like it but it broke within 2 monthsTylerthis looks so cute in our kitchen, but it was pretty difficult to install because it doesn't separate from the base plate, and doesn't cover the supply box as stated in other reviews. Because of this, it went in slightly crooked (difficult to correct).
after 2 months of use, it now flickers when I turn it on: not like a dim flicker, like a strobe light. I saw in another review that the bulbs are not compatible with the power supply, this could be our issue. We'll be trying to get our money back if we can otherwise it's trash and I need to find new one :(
Spotlights for artworks NormanThe spotlights give off a yellowish hue. They are not large or imposing. There is a square that sits on top of the light which usually is round.
Great design, bright lightDebraI purchased these over a year ago for a long dark hallway in my house. They are great. The design maintains a low profile, which I wanted. The light is bright. I've had no problems with them whatsoever. I really love them. As for those who said they are difficult to install, I had an electrician install mine, so I can't comment on that.
Poorly designed - hard to install, I regret this purchaseMartinBecause the light is not in fact track lighting, and only installs with a single base plate- it's very important to look at your power supply first. For instance, the plate is not large enough to fully cover a standard 3 1/2 box. And because the whole bar connects at a single point - the bar itself can title and list sideways and up and down. Surely it can be installed well - but these flaws are highly annoying. Also note it does not come with install hardware.

so cute, yet so annoying to installFloriandoesn't come with the screws to mount to the box. you need very very specific screws to be flat enough to fit under the plate when you rotate it around, and also the right size to go into the box. Also it's pretty heavy and you have to leave it dangling from the wire nuts while you screw it in / do the rest of the electrical, which is eh.
Difficult install, not dimmableDavidReally disappointed with this fixture. The mounting plate is super unforgiving to wider ceiling holes and requires your box to have precisely aligned screw holes and orientation I'd you wish to hide the screw head. As typical with IKEA fixtures, no mounting hardware is included, and while I've come to expect this - it still leaves me frustrated.
Lastly - it's not dimmable. For a $70, built-in LED fixture this is super disappointing. This is disclosed in the description, but even so it's pretty surprising for a built-in fixture.
Overall, I would definitely not purchase again.

Perfect light for almost any room.AnonymousSimple, sleek lights that have added light to many of our rooms. Easy to install. We have put them up in the kitchen, hallway, dark area of our bedroom and in the dining room. They just disappear into the white ceiling and provide excellent light.
$60 LED Track Light doesn't glow for longAnonymous reviewerI got this set for my mom for her living room to replace a ceiling fixture that had 3 lamps but was looking very dated. This unit lasted just over 4 months before one of the bulbs went out then a 2nd went out. Once a bulb fails the entire unit becomes trash, as the LED lamps are not replaceable. I replaced the unit with a different traditional track light that she was happy with. My friend took the trash and is electronically inclined and was able to find that the power unit was not consistent with the power supply causing bulbs to fail. So it went in landfill..
