Terrible!JessicaI would never have gone through the hassle of bringing mattresses back to the store for return, but these were such a waste of money. I had to load them into the car and drive across town to return them. Nearly $140 per mattress and they are essentially a foam eggshell. I can't even believe that Ikea is selling the product, let alone at this price tag. They are not capable of providing any support for 150 lb female. When I lay on it completely nearly touching the hard surface under. 1
Still haveJacquelineUse as a guess mat out lasted the frame and it’s still comfortable 4

TYPICAL OVERPRICED IKEA TRASHAnonymous reviewerI stopped buying ikea furniture over a decade ago because it's nothing but problematic overpriced crap. Decided to replace my 10+yrs old bed and mattress. The one bed i was interested in was not in the showroom. Of all the beds THAT ONE had to be removed by some ikea brainiancs for no reason. Even a worker was surprised and couldn't explain. This ASVANG mattress was in the showroom but wrapped in plastic. The polyester cover feels cheap, plasticky. It's one sided. I can't comment on the egg crate foam because i'm not even going to use it. This mattress has 4 handles. One handle ripped from the side and the seams at both handles unraveled.
I didn't expect such crappy quality from a $180+ mattress. I've heard of IKEA price increase and quality decline. That's why i stopped buying IKEA long time ago and going forward i'm going to boycott IKEA.
No need for scripted replies about warranty, exchange, bla bla bla. I want my time and gas money back. Too much aggravation with ikea trash.1
Very firmMelindaThis is as hard as a box spring. Softer than the floor but not much. Way too firm. Will have to put something soft on top. Return is way too difficult. After unrolled it will not fit in my car. 4
DisappointingEnikoIKEA used to have awesome mattresses. Malfors (about 10 yrs ago) was wonderful. Then they replaced that with Meistervick, which was somewhat thinner, less dense foam, but still decent and still had two layers. Now they further dropped the quality with this single layer eggcrate mattress. It is not comfortable, I prefer firm mattresses, but this is like a camping pad.1

Firm, comfortable. Dislike top. Barely thick enough. SarahComfortable enough for a firm mattress, which we like. I wish the old high density foam mattresses Meistervik would be brought back. This is similar but thinner and has a dimpled top. So it can’t be flipped or stacked well, which is a disappointment. It’s barely thick enough for a daily mattress for a kid. Costs as much as the thicker model it replaced which is disappointing. Still good IKEA quality. Will keep and use but hoping for a thicker model again. 4
