Exactly as Described BarbaraThis is just what I wanted. Solid Wood frame- not composite or wood veneer. The plates are metal and sit on top of 2 frames. Good size and better than expected. Great for price. Beautifully holds about 12 inch tall plants in 8 inch pots in the bottom and taller on top. Pots can even be bigger or holds multiple smaller sizes. Construction didn't take too long and the instructions are very clear. It's nice to have a rubber mallet to gently help push the pins in at first.

Versatile piece of furniturePatI had a small corner in which I wanted to put a plant stand. This works perfectly. The two round trays are not fixed which is useful if you want to use them for serving. They move easily but with something placed on them they won’t really shift easily unless bumped.

Good valueJillThis plant stand is good for that corner in a room that need a plant to bring life to the room. It easy to assemble, has nice big pans that will hold a large plant or several small ones. The trays are shaped like shallow bowls to catch any water spills. They are metal powder coated mine are white. The stand is not tippy, nice and sturdy.
