The cover is removable and can be machine washed. Divide the cover to make it easier to fit in the washing machine.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.
Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

Too firm, regret replacing my Lucid memory foam mattress with thudAlexandreHurts mylower back and shoulders. I replaced the Lucid memory foam mattress I had because the movers arrived much later than I expected when moved fom California do Seattle recently.
I decided to buy a high quality mattress though this was it. After roughly a month of using it, my wife and I regret the decision of fully replacing our old mattress tha arrived 10 days after we bought this one.
We though it was ok at the time, so I donated the other mattress. But it’s been rough.
So a warning for people who are not too heavy (I’m 190 pounds ): this is a VERY firm mattress as far as memoryfoam goes, doesn’t accommodate you as much you expect it will.2
