Finally tossed it, yahoo!TerryI guess on the positive side, I dealt with it 1 1/2 years. But it kept shrinking. Washed in warm in a front loader, dryed on permanent press - never hot. Washed about every 1-2 weeks Shrank about 2” at 3 months. At one year 3”. The shrinking was not uniform, center width, mostly. You could feel the bunching and edges. We even tried stretching and ironing . The manufacturer acknowledges that there will be some shrinkage, so why in the “H” dont they make it bigger. I beg ikea, have an employee take one home, wash and dry it a dozen times, then find another supplier. 1

So far so good AbdullahPurchased a few weeks ago. It fits the mattress perfectly. The price is pretty good compared to others. Doesn’t make any weird sounds when you’re sleeping like other colors do I haven’t washed it yet, but so far so good. 5
Melted in dryerLindaThe quilting on top is very nice. The first time I laundered this product the underside melted in the dryer. Ikea should not be selling this product.2
Only cotton on one side, plastic net on the back!MonikaPictures are deceiving! I bought this hoping it would be a successor to the Kungsmynta mattress protector which has been discontinued. Kungsmynta was excellent - breathable with cotton on both sides. Ängskorn looks identical on both sides in product photos, so it was a big disappointment that it turned out to have a polyester net on the back side! I want a protector that is breathable, not waterproof nor plastic. 2

Quality went downLenaWe had very similar mattress protector purchased years ago and it was great, good cotton on both sides. Now this one - it melted in dryer on "extra low" setting and filling went out. It's no longer cotton both sides! We returned immediately - such a horrible quality.1

Didn't work as expectedRobMaybe I misunderstood the description but it said it "absorbs moisture and protects your mattress from stains." Well unfortunately my daughter wet the bed and it went right through this pad onto the mattress.
But the pad itself stayed in place, was the perfect size for the twin bed, felt comfortable. It's not thick padding but you can feel a little softness on top of your mattress. So I guess by moisture they mean drool or sweat, not anything significant.3
