Vintage yet ModernKarenI have loved. the look of this bed for a long time. It is so inexpensive I don't know what took me so long to buy it. I have it styled with the EKTANDVINGE charcoal check comforter & pillow covers, the AINA grey shams, a stunning Amish quilt in blues and greys, and LAGERPOPPEL throw pillows. in blue-grey. It's STUNNING and, except for the Amish quilt, was sooooo reasonably. priced. 5
Makes a lot of noise after using it for a couple monthsBinduThis bedframe was great for the first 3 months and then it started creaking quite a bit when there was any movement on the bed. Getting on and off of it, rolling over, every little movement makes it squeak. It does seem to be the actual iron bed frame that’s causing it and not the slats, so overall I’d say I’m disappointed by the quality. 3
Beautiful bedLinleyI purchased the full size stjarno bed for my guest room and so far, the guests love it! The bed frame is beautiful, and feels sturdy and well made. The matte finish is lovely and the soft white color is comforting. The base/foundation is also well made and provides great support for the mattress. The frame height allows for storage under the bed. (Very important for those of us with "stuff" issues)! It appeared a little daunting to put together but my task rabbit friend seemed to have no difficulty with it.
I considered several other white metal frame beds and kept coming back to this one, however there was not one on display at the Tampa Ikea but I have been very pleased with other Ikea purchases, so I took a chance on this bed and I'm very glad I did!5

Height of head and footboards is off!SusanI adore the look and style of this bed, but I wish it were more like the older black wrought iron Ikea bed it replaced. That bed had a higher headboard AND a footboard that- while not as tall as the top- was much higher than this.
The issue with this footboard is twofold. First, unless you have the world's skinniest mattress (and most popular modern mattresses, such as Tempurpedic. are WAY thicker than the picture), the top of the mattress falls level to or even below the top rail of the footboard (even without a foundation). This just looks goofy.
Secondly, given the low height, tucking bedding in at the bottom is really difficult! (Fitted sheets are problematic, and don't even get me started on the struggle of a down duvet!!!)
Bottom line. Lovely look and terrific bed in theory, Would I buy again? No. I'd look for a used version of the old styling with higher head and footboards.2

Solid and Beautiful BedAmandaI bought this bed when there were no reviews for it and it wasn’t in the showroom yet to see in person. I was nervous I’d regret it but I'm so happy with my purchase. It’s very solid and easy to assemble. The premium slatted bed base was not fun to put together but it’s solid. The height of the headboard is more substantial than many comparable beds and looks much more to scale with the room. Buy it, you won’t regret it!5
