Note: mine failed after 4 years of near constant use, just ordered a new one. I have 2 overhead can lights in the bathroom as well, so i like that its a soft accent light. I think the design is very nice, looks more than $99. to me!!
Not mad about itGaryDirect wired and Installed both in under 2.0 hours which included pulling wire and installing two “old work” electrical boxes. The ONLY complaints are that LEDs are not extremely bright and reflections will be evidenced on cabinets or walls if within 6-8” of mirror edge. I would post photo if I could.

This mirror is wonderful when used as intendedLaurelWe love this mirror. We bought it to augment our existing bathroom vanity sconce. Yes, it requires a box be installed behind it, which can be a bit of a pain (especially in getting it lined up properly so it sits between the supports on the frame. We also ended up needing to space the entire thing from the wall with a couple of washers in order for the mirror to sit evenly, but it was worth it. Having light from all sides of your face is wonderful. The color temp is nice as well. As we build our next house, I simply can't find a mirror that I like better than this for even 3x the price, so we are buying them for both bathrooms.
Sooooo dark...AlecThe mirror looked bright on display at the store, but once we installed it in my daughter's bathroom, it's so dark. Definitely not worth the $149 we paid. Wish the brightness was adjustable.
Low quality for the priceMinIn the showing room, it looked great but then in my restroom, it looks not pricy at all. For that price, the quality can be said bad. I returned.
NOT bright enough.MikeIf you're thinking of using this to light your bathroom, or that it'll be bright enough for stuff like doing make-up, think again. It's about as bright as your average bedside lamp. Do NOT count on it for more than accent lighting. The way the LED strips are mounted also ends up leaving dark spots in the corners of the diffuser which makes it look a bit grubby all the time.

An additional drawing and set of measurements to show the needed clearance around and inside the frame would have been useful.

very pretty but very hard to installAnonymous reviewerit’s so pretty when it’s turned on but the box did not say you have to hardwire it in. it doesn’t come with a plug or anything. my dad works in construction so he knew how to put it in but if it wasn’t for that i would’ve had to spend more money on having a professional put it in or i would’ve taken it back. once it was put in it was perfect and i couldn’t love it anymore!!!

I wired it to the light switch used for my closet and love the way I am able to apply my make up comfortably sitting down in my room.
