Can I make a purchase under my tax-exempt status?

You can utilize your Tax-Exempt status when making purchases in-store and online. There are certain requirements and documentation that must be met to process your transaction.

In-Store Tax-Exempt

You must be Tax Exempt in the state where you are making your purchase. When purchasing in-store, you must present all Tax-Exempt paperwork to the cashier at the time of check out. If documentation is not provided at the time of purchase, it would be necessary to return to the store with your original receipt and the appropriate tax-exempt paperwork to speak with a Customer Service coworker, who will attempt to assist.

eCommerce (online) Tax-Exempt

You will be required to pay taxes on your order at the time of purchase. Tax exemption certificates need to be emailed to the Cash Office at [email protected]. The subject line must contain the order number. Once the exemption certificate has been received Cash Office will process a refund of the applicable tax to the original form of payment.
