How do I set up my GALANT drawer combination?

Information on our GALANT drawer unit series with combination lock.

About the Product

Our GALANT drawer units are made to be convenient, stylish, and most of all, secure. They're perfect for storing your personal items or items you may want to keep out of reach of children. You choose your own code for the combination lock and safely store your papers and office supplies.

Drawers with integrated dampers close slowly, silently and softly. Drawer stops prevent the drawer from being pulled out too far.

This storage unit has been tested for office use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 14073, EN14074, ANSI/BIFMA x5.9 and ISO-7170.

Setting the Combination Lock

The drawer unit comes with a 3-dial, programmable, combination lock. It may be set to lock clockwise or anticlockwise.
1000 different combinations are available simply by pushing a button.

  1. Set the combination to the 3-digit number that opens the lock. (The factory default setting is 0-0-0.)
  2. Push the button in (with a paper clip, for example) and keep it pushed in.
  3. Rotate the numbered dials one by one to the desired combination.
  4. Release the reset button. The combination is set.
  5. To lock, close the door and turn the cam to the “locked” position. Then rotate one or more of the numbered dials. To open, rotate the dials to show the combination you have chosen.
