Why is there a recycling fee for my online order?
Mattresses purchased in California, Connecticut and Rhode Island have a recycling fee attached to the purchase as required by state mandate. Please note that our standard $25 mattress removal fee is waived as a result.
California
All mattress retailers located in California must collect a $10.50 mattress recycling fee on every mattress purchased, as required by the state.
Connecticut
All mattress retailers located in Connecticut must collect a $11.75 mattress recycling fee on every mattress purchased, as required by the state. This fee applies to all mattress and box springs sold as of May 1, 2015.
Rhode Island
The fee collected per unit in Rhode Island applies to mattresses and box springs as of May 1, 2016. The recycling fee, as approved by the states, is $16.
