SO SOFT!!CharityOMG! I'm obsessed. I saw this rug in the store and touched it and fell in love. It brings me such joy every time I hop out of bed and feel the soft wool under foot. I can't describe how good it feels. Yes, it sheds. Yes, it would be difficult to clean in a high traffic area, but for a bedroom, it's phenomenal. I know I'll be even happier this winter when my feet don't touch the cold floor at night. Thanks IKEA.
Cozy and plushyMichel'LeI love this rug so much! It adds a cozy warmth to my bedroom! I have not had any issues with shedding or any weird smells. It’s very easy to pass a vacuum cleaner over it or shake it out outdoors. I own a high energy working breed big dog and a little dog and the rug is still super nice and not dingy at all from them being on it. I think it would be a beautiful add to your home. If I had to buy it again I totally would.
Lovely pieceSarahThis rug stopped me in my tracks! It’s gorgeous in person. I read reviews where shedding and smell were in issue. I don’t have this rug in a high traffic area. It’s in my home office where no pets are present and no one walking all over it. If you have a special place in your home this rug is posh!

I don’t have any pets and I swear the rug will not stop shedding which is a bummer because it does really brighten up the space and looks great but it’s incredibly annoying. Especially considering the fact that it wasn’t exactly cheap?

gave me breathing problemsIsabelhad this rug for two weeks - i developed respiratory problems during this time. I didn't realize it was because of the rug, I honestly thought my house had mold or dust or something that I was allergic to. Ultimately, I saw a doctor and after multiple tests discovered that my lungs were in fact inflamed, I was prescribed an inhaler for the first time in my life (have had healthy lungs forever before this). turned out to be due to the chemicals in this rug. really disturbing that it is possible that this rug could make me so sick! The fact that it didn't improve after 2 weeks of fan on and window open was also quite disappointing.

Love it, but not with a dogKrissaI love this rug so much and receive many compliments. It literally brings me joy! While many have complained about the smell and shedding, we found the smell disappeared after a couple of weeks, and we haven't found the shedding to be an issue. The problem, however, is that becasue it is wool, it cannot be washed or even dry-cleaned. This became a problem when our dog threw up all over it (bound to happen with pets). Not enough blotting is going to get this clean. Though I'm sad to say it, I think we need to replace it with a rug that is easier to clean.
So soft and beautiful colorationJenniferThis rug is so soft and plush. I actually bought two and hand stitched them together on the backside to form a large area rug. I get so many compliments on this rug. It hides dirt well, and although it does shed, I find it minimal.

What is wool?
Wool is a practical natural material that usually comes from sheep. The raw wool is washed and then spun into yarn. Wool rugs have many advantages. They're soft, warm and comfortable to walk on, and they're also very hardwearing. They're stain-resistant too, because wool has it own natural oil. This means that dirt stays on the surface and doesn't penetrate into the rug. All wool rugs shed - some more, some less - vacuum them regularly to prevent the loose fibers from scattering.
