Lovely, strong and looks good, HOWEVER...GaylinSo first the good- it's very thick and beefy! No strength issues here! The color is a bit darker than I thought, which I'm glad for, as I originally wanted Ekbacken dark concrete effect, but they stopped making those.
Now the not so great- there's not enough edging included to do a long side! I had to rip an island sized piece to do a slightly deeper countertop; I need edging along the entire length, but there is none! So I had to improvise and buy another to use as a waterfall effect that would come up high enough to cover the raw edge.
The other thing is... it's VERY difficult to use as a backsplash to get a seamless, modern look due to its thickness. You lose a lot of countertop space and we had to use something different behind the sink, as it would have left no space for the large cut out required for our large sink. Which leads me to ask...
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THOSE THIN LAMINATE SHEETS WE COULD USE AS A BACKSPLASH?!?! Those were SO handy and easy!!3
LOVE this Counter, BUT!BenWe love this counter. It looks great, it's very thick (and heavy). It was a lot of work to get this installed. What I hate about this product is it only comes with one single end cut strip, the strip you attach to the cut ends of the counter. We cannot obtain/purchase more strips, from what I can tell there is no part number. Ikea support told us to go back to the store and they will give us some. Well, we did that last night. We drove over an hour each way to the store for them to tell us that they do not have any of these end pieces. Huge waste of time. Just return it then you may think. I really don't want to do that, I have many hours in getting this installation just perfect. To tear it all out and start over just because of the end strips not being obtainable? Ridiculous. Please take note. If you buy this counter and cut it on any angle, the one strip they give you will not be long enough to cover the cut, so you will have no way to make it look nice/ finished. Disappointed!1

Scratches easily! LyndseyThe counters look good, but scratch so easily! Fortunately I picked the black marble, so the scratches are “hidden” in the design, but I worry about what can get in those scratches and how well those spots will hold up over time. Be very very gentle on these counters. 2
Easy to InstallChristinaWe used this for the kitchen counter tops and looks amazing and very easy to work with - however the price just skyrocketed (only reason I gave 4 stars). I paid $79 i believe and now it's over $100+. Not sure if that's because of tarriffs or what but I came back to buy another one and OOF. Not sure if I'll buy right now plus have to pay shipping on it. 4

Inspect carefullyBrianWe purchased this countertop to be used as an arts and crafts counter. Upon unboxing, the rounded edge of the countertop seems to be crushed right in the center. Upon looking closer at the cardboard, you can see there must have been a strap that holds them together while shipping that caused this damage. I saved the cardboard, and will hopefully be able to exchange it. Unfortunately, and probably part of the reason why, this one was the last one in stock at the store. It’s been 4 weeks and still out of stock. Hopefully they take it back when replacements are finally available.1
