Excellent quality! AmyThis cabinet is extremely good quality. Solid wood and easy assembly. It took two of us maybe a half an hour to put it together. We did find that a rubber mallet came in handy when sliding the pegged ends together. It feels extremely sturdy and well made. I was glad my husband was there to figure out the hinge adjustment because it went a little over my head but that's simply because I don't build furniture often lol. The instructions were pretty straightforward.
Poor quality and difficult to assembleElaineThis uses cheaply made and very thin wood veneer. Assembly is maddeningly difficult with some joints difficult to join sans a lot of force. Hinges were the worst part. I will be returning this despite assembling it. I figured how to use a towel followed by gentle but strong pressure to align the joints... But aligning the doors with the hinges was maddening. I then really looked at the piece and realized it was not something I wanted to keep per the low quality. I will spend a bit or even a lot more to get something much better that will look nicer, have greater function and longevity. Ikea, please do better. I first started shopping Ikea in the 1990s. I do not know if I will do so again. I like Ikea's iconic Poang chair, bit not the decline in quality materials as it destroys beauty and even long term function.

Top NotchBenHaving owned a lot of IKEA furniture, this piece is clearly on another level. The quality is superb! It’s made in Poland. The way it all fits together is quite impressive with very precise tolerances. Highly recommended!

Looks perfect in our dining roomTinaDefinitely matches our 'mid century modern' vibe. It was fairly easy to assemble. It does scratch pretty easily, which is why I didn't give it a five star.
NIce, BUT chipped cornersLoriIkea is going downhill, not only in customer service but in quality. Everything I have purchased there in this past year-if available-has been made cheaply. This piece was chipped on the corners right out of the box. My choice was drive an hour and waste a day or deal with it. At this point, we had to return so many times, we decided to deal with it. I'll recommend this piece but check it all out before you start to build it.

Don’t buy unless you have wood working skillsCathyUnit is not fabricated using typical IKEA fastening methods. It has not been vetted for ease of construction and does not have good instructions. The slots that receive the dowels are not cleanly routed out so the very precise construction that this unit requires was not able to be achieved which meant the back panel that goes into the slot on the bottom and sides isn’t able to slide in. The package was also missing one of the two front doors but that was the least of the problems. I get ikea furniture because I know It has been vetted for the average consumer to construct. I go out of my way to pick it up at the store and haul it into my house because of that. This product is more typical of what I’d expect from Wayfair. Difference is it would have been delivered to my house and I’d be refunded fully for the subpare product. Ikea isn’t owning their issue with this product. Hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. After poor customer service on top of this, will be my last purchase.
