White Cabinet DooDanaVery Roomy and sturdy
Look great but large gapKatieGreat large cabinet for the price but there is a large gap where the doors are supposed to meet. No way to adjust it. I ordered 5 and so far 3 all have the gap. I had them delivered and don't have the ability to return them. In order to have them picked up to return them I need to disassemble them and pack them up which would destroy them due to the backing that is hammered on. I also intended to hang 2 on the wall because a q&a said they could hung on the wall, but after purchasing I saw they could not be hung on the wall and the q&a was updated to say they can't be hung just mounted to prevent tipping. Overall frustrated because of how big of an order this was. And now im stuck with them.
Nice but there is a gap in the doorsDeannaI should have read the reviews more carefully as this seems to be a common issues. Easy to assembly but at the end there is a half inch or more gap between the doors. It’s not super appealing but taking it apart and returning it for a new one isn’t an option as I live to far away.

Great quality especially for the priceErinI want to start by noting, if you are seeing any reviews complaining about the gap in the doors, it’s because people are not getting all the way through the instructions! The very last page shows how to make adjustments to fix any of these issues. I had the issue with the gap and fixed it entirely by the very last page. ——
For $100, I am honestly so impressed with the quality. I RARELY leave reviews but after seeing some of the issues people had that were simply user error, and with how happy I am with the finished product, I felt it needed one. The piece is solid, and looks more expensive than the $100 price tag. We bought 2, and are more than likely going to buy another since we are so happy with it and could use another cabinet in another space. ——
One thing that other people mentioned as well, I suggest putting the doors on very last. Put the shelves in first, or risk scraping the inside of the doors. Other than that, worth every penny!

Great fit, but wonky doorsIsabellaI needed a storage solution for my bathroom with no storage, and this works perfectly. My only complaint is that the doors were a struggle to make even in the first place, and over time they’ve become wonky again.
Huge gap between doorsHeatherThey were not too difficult to put together but there is a gap about 3/4 an inch between the doors which makes it look tacky. No way to fix or adjust it. Too much work to take apart and return so I’m pretty frustrated.
Cabinet Doors.GloriaThe cabinets are sturdy and look great, would have given 5 stars if the doors did not have the large gap. How does IKEA correct this? Has another purchaser solved this GAP issue? I don’t want to disassemble and return them.

I put one together and there’s a gap between the doors that there’s no way of adjusting. I bought two of these and now i’m wondering if I should return the other one before I attempt to assemble it. I don’t want to hassle over disassembling one I put together.

Giant gap between the doorsAnastasiaThere’s about a 3/4 inch gap between the doors and it just looks awful, never had an issue with ikea furniture but I have to find a way to return it.
Great cabinet!DebbieBecause IKEA has so many different sizes of cabinets, never have a hard time finding one. The Brimnes cabinet fits perfectly in my craft room. It is well built and delivered right on time.
Great cabinets!JanisBought three of these and placed next to one another, to make a TV cabinet. Love the cabinets, good quality and rather easy to put together. Only challenge has been leveling the doors.

my first gripe was the packaging - I understand it's going to be heavy but as someone that does everything by themselves, I had to pay the extra $60 to have all the boxes delivered upstairs in my home as there was no way I could even leave the store with it on my own.
Now the instructions need words, especially for page 25 where it shows you how to adjust the doors. I had to take apart the hardware/hinges in order to figure out how they work and how to exactly remove the gap between the doors. Some words or even a link to a video would've been really helpful here. Also, I'm not sure if it was just me, but in order to put in the shelves, I had to take part of one door off - so this step should probably be before connecting the doors.
3.5 stars but still a good valueAnonymous reviewerCompared to available options I felt like 2 of these cabinets gave me more storage for a lower price than one of the more stylish options, and were likely easier to get home and assemble by myself. Hint to Ikea: package furniture in multiple lighter weight boxes for apartment dwellers. Now, why I'm not giving them 5 stars, as there were a few compromises. As others have mentioned, no amount of adjusting hinge screws will get the doors close to meeting in the center. I've assembled many ikea cabinets with doors over the years and can usually get them straight and close. Not these. I purchased the black units so its not as noticable. Biggest complaint is the low handles. I would have preferred the handles be higher so I dont need to bend down to open. Due to the holes being predrilled youre stuck placing them in the center. The shelves are very heavy and hard to place after mounting doors and hard to adjust once placed. With a few design tweeks these cabinets could be amazing.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded.
