Not design to fit ikea live treesSharonThe circumference of the holder was too small for the tree. And considering that I bought the live tree from ikea, it was a huge disappointment. Had to cut down several lower branches and the sides of the tree trunk before tree would fit into the stand. The older, plastic model is 100 times better than this new design.

The Stand is quite stablePhunThe Stand is quite stable to take the weight of the tree. The diameter of the slot to hold the tree trunk should be bigger to accommodate different sizes of the trunk. We had a problem as the trunk was larger than the diameter of the slot and we had to cut off two branches and trim the side of the trunk. Not an ideal situation.
Christmas Tree baseVery small n solid design. Propose a nice cloth to wrap around it but not available in IKEA.
