What is Oops Assurance?
Be on the safe side when you transport and assemble your IKEA furniture.
With Oops Assurance included in the IKEA Family membership, you can feel secure when transporting and assembling your IKEA furniture on your own. Here you will find more information about the policy.
Things don't always go as planned. That's why it's good to know that you are in safe hands with IKEA Family. Enter your IKEA Family number when you pay, and you will automatically get 14 days of Oops Assurance.
If you accidentally damage your product during transport or assembly within 14 days of purchase, we'll replace the damaged part or item free of charge with the same article number.

Oops Assurance Policy Conditions:
- The policy only applies if you enter your IKEA Family card when purchasing the item, either online or in-store.
- The policy is valid for 14 days from the date you purchased the product or received the product upon delivery and is strictly limited to a one-time application per product.
- This claim is subject to IKEA’s review and confirmation that the damage was incurred during transit or assembly.
- The policy does not cover products purchased in As-Is, food products, live plants, as well as custom-made kitchen worktops and wall panels.
- To exchange for a new part or item from IKEA for free, you must bring your proof of purchase (receipt/tax invoice), and the damaged part or product to the IKEA store.
