IKEA Gaming Festival Terms & Conditions

Quick Match Tournament Terms & Conditions

  1. Activity is open to all IKEA customers aged 8 years old and above.​
  2. Participants under 18 years of age must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to take part.
  3. Each match will be played as a Best-of-3. The winner stays on to face a new opponent. Players will compete to achieve the longest consecutive winning streak, with the highest streaks featured on the leaderboard.
  4. Participants who achieve five consecutive wins will receive a $10 IKEA Gift Card. Limited to one (1) redemption per participant. 
  5. In the event of a tie on the leaderboard, IKEA and the event organiser reserves the right to conduct a tie-breaker match or determine the winner at its discretion.
  6. Tote bags are available while stocks lasts and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
  7. The participant at the top (1st position) of the leaderboard at the end of the event will win a $1,000 IKEA gift card.
  8. Prizes are available while stocks last and are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash or other items.
  9. IKEA reserves the right to cancel the activity without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation.
  10. IKEA shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons which at any time may have suffered or sustained during the activities.
  11. By participating or entering the premises, you consent to IKEA, IKEA staff, IKEA affiliates and appointed partners to capture or record their photos and videos during the event and grant the rights of possession of the above-described and have full permission to use for marketing purposes.

Playing with Pro Terms & Conditions

  1. Activity is open to all IKEA customers aged 13 years old and above.
  2. Participants under 18 years of age must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to take part.
  3. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available session slots.
  4. Participants may only participate once per session and will receive a token of participation.
  5. Token of participations are available while stocks last and are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash or other items.
  6. Any disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate removal from the play zone.
  7. The professional gamer and event organiser reserve the right to end a match if technical issues or unforeseen circumstances occur.
  8. IKEA reserves the right to cancel the activity without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation.
  9. IKEA shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons which at any time may have suffered or sustained during the activities.
  10. By participating or entering the premises, you consent to IKEA, IKEA staff, IKEA affiliates and appointed partners to capture or record their photos and videos during the event and grant the rights of possession of the above.

Family gaming room Terms & Conditions

  1. Activity is open to all IKEA customers aged 4 years old and above.
  2. Only selected XBOX games including multiplayer and family-friendly titles will be available for play.
  3. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seating and equipment availability.
  4. Each individual or group may play for up to 15 minutes to give more visitors a chance to participate.
  5. Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
  6. By participating, you agree to treat all equipment, furniture and event fixtures with care.
  7. Any disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate removal from the play zone.
  8. Food and drinks are not allowed in the play zone.
  9. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
  10. IKEA reserves the right to cancel the activity without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation.
  11. IKEA shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons which at any time may have suffered or sustained during the activities.
  12. By participating or entering the premises, you consent to IKEA, IKEA staff, IKEA affiliates and appointed partners to capture or record their photos and videos during the event and grant the rights of possession of the above-described and have full permission to use for marketing purposes.

Cosplay Parade Terms & Conditions

  1. Activity is open to all IKEA customers.
  2. Online Registration will be open on 22 September to 3 October 2026 and close at 5pm sharp.
  3. Physical Registration at IKEA Alexandra, Level 2, Store Entrance, will be available on 4 October from 2pm onwards.
  4. Registered participants are required to be present 30 mins before the final parade commences at 5.30pm. Failure to arrive on time may result in disqualification.
  5. Judging will be based on Craftsmanship, Character Accuracy, Interaction with the Audience and Overall Appeal. The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  6. Participants dressed as any XBOX “Overwatch” character will receive five (5) bonus points for Character Accuracy only; all other judging criteria and the overall total score will remain unchanged.
  7. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
  8. Costumes, props, and behaviour must be family-friendly, safe, and suitable for a public retail environment.
  9. Milsim (Military Simulation)/LARP (Live-Action Role-Play) is not allowed, and participants must not use dangerous, offensive or prohibited props, weapons, pyrotechnics or items that could pose a safety risk. Strictly no tossing of props or stage items that requires cleaning up.
  10. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants whose costumes, conduct, or submissions are deemed inappropriate.
  11. IKEA reserves the right to cancel the activity without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation.
  12. IKEA shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons which at any time may have suffered or sustained during the activities.
  13. By participating in the event, contestants consent to being photographed and filmed for marketing, promotional and publicity purposes.
  14. By participating or entering the premises, you consent to IKEA, IKEA staff, IKEA affiliates and appointed partners to capture or record their photos and videos during the event and grant the rights of possession of the above-described and have full permission to use for marketing purposes.
