TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CONTEST This contest is organised by Ikano Pte Ltd (IKEA Singapore). Terms and Conditions apply to all participants of the Curious Library Contest. Participants who take part agree to and are bound by all the terms and conditions as stated below:
Who can enter? Open to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents of Singapore and anyone residing in Singapore at time of contest except co-workers of Ikano Pte Ltd, its subsidiaries and affiliates, agencies or any company associated with the activity and contest and/or the immediate family members of such persons. You will need to be 18 years old or older to enter.
What is the contest period? Submissions will only be accepted via an online form from 4 Aug – 31 Aug 2026, 11.59PM. Any submissions received after the contest concludes will not be accepted.
Which platform is the contest held? The contest will be held in the Curious Library showroom at IKEA Tampines.
How do I enter? Simply follow the clues in the Curious Library showroom until you find the QR code that leads you to an online form where you can submit your answer.
How many winners will be selected? We will be selecting 1 lucky winner.
What is the prize? The winner will receive a $100 IKEA gift card. The prize is not transferable to another name and is also non-refundable nor exchangeable for cash or vouchers.
How do I win? The IKEA social media team will judge all entries and choose 1 lucky winner with the correct answer. Final decisions will be made at our discretion. We will be selecting the winner on 2nd September, 10am, at the IKEA Singapore Service Office.
Can I submit more than once? You may submit as many entries however, you will only be able to win one prize.
How will winners be announced and contacted? The winner will be notified by an email and/or phone call during office hours (Monday- Friday between 9.00am – 5.00pm). The winner will have until the end of the day of 3rd September (2359hr SGT) to respond with their personal particulars for verification purposes. If we don’t hear back from the winner within that time, we will have the right to select the next eligible participant as the winner of the contest.
How do I collect my prize? Prizes will be sent out via courier to the winner. Our social media team will be in touch for collection details. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, IKEA Singapore has the right to replace the prize with another product/gift card of a similar value.
Photo reproduction. By participating in this contest, IKEA Singapore reserves the right to use any submitted photo in any publication or media worldwide for promotional activities/materials, without further notification or any compensation to you. For example, photos could be used by IKEA Singapore in the promotion of future events and may be used in displays, advertisements, printed publications, and/or on websites. You also acknowledge and agree to waive any right to inspect or approve any future promotional activities/materials that may include your photos.
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE PROVISIONS BELOW BEFORE PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST. BY PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO THE STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE CONTENTS OF THE PROVISIONS AND YOU HEREBY GIVE YOUR CONSENT AS SET OUT BELOW. By submitting your personal data via the online form, (which includes names, photographs, recorded audio/video, written communications and/or any other data attribute establishing the personal identity) you consent to Ikano Pte Ltd (IKEA Singapore) collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data for the purpose of the Curious Library Contest. During your course of dealing with us, we will process your personal data for the above mentioned purpose, including, to communicate with you, provide products and/or services to you, respond to your enquiries or complaints, identify you (including publishing your name and photograph) when you participate in the contest organised by us and other purposes required to operate and maintain our business as set out in our Personal Data Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as “Purposes”).
