Get the right pillow for your sleep position
Are you a side, back or stomach sleeper? Whichever way you slumber, your head, neck and spine should be aligned in a straight line for maximum comfort and good spine health. This is why pillow height matters. Different heights support different sleep positions in the correct alignment. Here’s how:
- When you sleep on your side or your back, your head needs to be lifted higher to accommodate your shoulders or be in correct alignment with your back. A high pillow helps nicely here.
- Sleeping on your stomach can cause pressure on your back and neck, so we don’t recommend a high pillow. Go for a low one to keep your neck in a good position.
