How to get it

Forget to water the plants sometimes? If so, SVÄMSKOG self-watering insert is the solution. Just stick it into the soil and it takes care of the watering for you. Fits any pot – and is nice to look at too!

Product details

When this self-watering insert is placed into the soil of any plant pot, the water will penetrate the soil through the terracotta insert.

The terracotta insert makes the water penetrate more slowly than other solutions, so the water will last for longer.

The water container can also be replaced by a 1 litre PET bottle to allow for more water volume when you’re away on vacation.

The water container is made from semi-transparent plastic so you can see the water level and add water when needed.

The water container has a lid on the top for easy refilling, while also keeping insects away.

  • We recommend to push the entire terracotta insert down into the soil.

    For indoor and outdoor use at temperatures above 0°C.

    The water container is comprised of a minimum of 50% recycled plastic.

And it also fits a 1L bottle. I find a Sprite bottle (hard plastic) fits perfectly. Excellent solution when away.

I have a few of these and they work perfect. Depending of the plant, they empty at different rates, giving just the right amount of water. They are the perfect watering solution.
