Material

What is wood fibre?

Wood fibres are natural fibres from trees used to make a variety of different materials for different purposes. For cushions, we have developed an IKEA-patented method to glue together small FSC-sourced wooden fibres with bicomponent fibres to create a soft and comfortable filling that shapes itself after your body. Another benefit is that left-over material in the production can be used again to make more cushions. How smart is that?
