The shelving unit is possible to mount in 2 ways – with 1 clothes rail and 4 shelves or 2 clothes rails and 3 shelves. You find both ways in the Assembly Instruction.

This is a sturdy, practical, flexible unit. I've given 5 *'s BUT I'd give it 6*'s if IKEA would offer an additional spare shelf as an accessory giving even more flexibility!!!!
