Nice design but 2 different shapes and corroding.AnonymousI bought two sets of this cutlery at the same time. One set has the code 22388 and is made in China the other 22422 and is made in Vietnam. The set made in Vietnam has more rounded edges, is slightly heavier and appears to be a higher quality. The Vietnam and China sets are different in size as well for example the knife from one set is 5mm longer than the other. After only one months use they are also showing signs of corrosion that is very hard to clean off. Finally our son has just bought a set in the UK and paid €29 (GBP 25). Why are these €40 in Portugal!!1

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
