Terms and Conditions - Circular Area online
With the Área Circular Online (Asis online) platform, customers can reserve products available in the Área Circular line at each physical IKEA store. To make this reservation, customers must be logged in to their IKEA Family account.These Terms and Conditions of the Área Circular Online will apply to reservations made in the Área Circular Online. For anything not provided herein, the General Terms and Conditions applicable to in-store purchases will apply, with any necessary adaptations.The General Terms and Conditions for using IKEA Portugal websites, including the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, available at Terms and Conditions , also apply to use of the Área Circular Online (Asis online) platform. These Terms and Conditions also apply to complaints, contact details, account creation and management, intellectual property and user content, and data protection, processing, and use. On the Área Circular Online (Asis online) platform, each item has its condition, the reason for the defect(s) found, and the type of packaging identified. The final price the customer must pay upon pickup at the selected store is also indicated. Prices shown are final and not subject to negotiation.
I - RESERVATION
On our platform, customers can choose one or more items, with each item having an individual reservation with its respective reservation identification number. They can reserve any number of items up to a maximum of three. Example: If a customer wishes to reserve three items, they will need to provide three different reservation numbers. For each reservation made, the customer will receive an email containing the reservation number and information on the next steps. The customer acknowledges and understands that the purchase and sale agreement is not concluded through the reservation, but only upon pickup in the store. Therefore, this will be a mere temporary reservation for the purchase of the specific product for 48 hours. To reserve, the customer must select the item by clicking on its image. Then, review the additional information and photos, click "continue to reserve" and then "Reserve this product." After this step, the product is reserved for 48 hours, and the customer is directed to a page where they enter the reservation number and are informed that they will receive an email with the information.
Abuse Prevention
IKEA reserves the right, without prior notice, to cancel, delete, or revoke the accounts and reservations of any members who act in violation or abuse of its terms and conditions or who negligently provide incorrect, false, or misleading information. Any unlawful actions detected will be considered a violation of these terms and conditions and will result in the loss of any associated rights.
II - CANCELLATION
The reservation is valid for 48 hours (forty-eight hours) from the date it is submitted. After this period, the customer will receive information about the reservation's validity at the email address provided in the reservation. If the expiration date is exceeded, the reservation will be canceled and the item will be put back on sale. After the reservation ends, the customer can reserve the same product two more times. After three attempts, reserving the same item will be blocked. The customer can cancel their reservation by clicking the "Cancel" button in the confirmation email. The customer does not need to provide a reason for canceling.
III - PICKUP IN STORE
The reservation must be picked up in the Circular Area of the chosen store, during store hours. To pick up the reserved item, you must provide the reservation number and the email address used to make the reservation to an IKEA employee in the Circular Area.
IV - PAYMENT
Items reserved through this service will be waiting for you in the Circular Area and must be paid for later at the checkout counters in the store you selected at the time of booking.
V - WARRANTY AND RETURNS
All products subject to reservation in the Online Circular Area have a legal warranty of 18 months. Exchanges and returns are covered by the same policy as any item purchased in-store. By clicking "I Accept" and continuing to use the platform, I declare that I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, as well as the General Terms and Conditions applicable to purchases made in-store and the General Terms and Conditions for the use of the IKEA Portugal websites, and other applicable conditions and policies. I fully accept them, committing to respect their content and the limits imposed therein.
