Returns, right of withdrawal and claims
If you want to return any of our products and you don't know how to do it, on this page you will find everything you need to know about our return policy and how to make a complaint.
Returns
we believe that everyone should be able to try our products at home – and to change their mind about them. That's why the IKEA 365-day return policy allows you to return any product within 365 days of purchase.
If you've changed your mind about a product, check out our returns policy which explains how to return a product to an IKEA store, by package return and by truck, and to cancel an order.
Right of withdrawal for online purchases
If you purchased your products online or by phone, by law you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to withdraw from the contract, without needing to state a reason and without incurring any penalty.
You may open and assemble the product to check its appearance. If you use the product more than necessary to verify it, we have the right to charge you an amount proportional to the loss of value of the product.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, within 14 days from the receipt of the product or the presentation of proof of dispatch.
This right is independent of any sales policy we offer.
Claims
At IKEA, we're continually working to improve our customers' experience, including an extensive warranty policy, which ranges from 3 to 25 years, depending on the product category.
If you need help with one of our services or products, please visit the complaints page to find out how to address the situation.
