How to digitize a space at IKEA Kreativ?

Transforming your current space into the home of your dreams is simple with IKEA Kreativ. Scan your space with the IKEA mobile app, then design and adjust your vision on your phone or computer via the IKEA website.

1. Capture your space
  • Download the app
    Download the IKEA app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  • Open the app
    Open the app and access your profile by tapping on the person's icon in the top left corner.
  • Go to settings
    Tap on "Settings", scroll down until you find "IKEA Kreativ" and select that option.
  • Enable the Scan Function
    Tap the camera icon in the top right corner to access the scanning feature.
  • Start scanning
    Follow the on-screen instructions. The app automatically chooses the best method for your device, whether it's 5-Point Panoramic, Ultra Wide or 1-Scan LiDAR.
Note: If you notice that the app slows down, freezes, or has errors when capturing your room, close any other open apps and try to scan the space again.
2. Design your space:
  • Once you've captured your space, you can draw it directly on your mobile device or on the IKEA Kreativ website. Log in with the same credentials used to capture your space.
  • If you want to remove current items, you can do so using our Eraser tool. Access to this tool differs depending on your device:
No web browser:
      • Use the toggle at the top and choose "Delete Items."
      • Click on an item outlined in yellow to remove it with the Eraser.
      • To remove all items, click "Hide All."
      • You can reset everything at any time by clicking on "Show all".
On the mobile app:
      • In the right sidebar, tap Delete.
      • Choose Hide All, Show All, or select individual items outlined in yellow to remove them.
      • When you're happy with the result, tap the checkmark to save your changes.
3.Save, share and remix:
  • When you're done designing your custom space, save your designs and share them with others.
  • The remix rooms feature is only available on the web version and allows you to send your designs to others to edit. On the mobile app, users can only share their designs.
