I accidentally damaged an item during shipping or assembly. What do I do?
If you used your IKEA Family card when purchasing the damaged item, you can exchange it in our stores up to 14 days after the date of purchase or delivery.
Things don't always go as planned and sometimes accidents happen. As an IKEA Family member, you are in good hands.
If you damage an item during transport or assembly, or you are not an IKEA Family member, you can exchange it in our stores up to 14 days after the date of purchase or delivery.
The only condition is that you must have used your IKEA Family card when purchasing the item.

If the item or a part is damaged, visit the Customer Service at one of our stores to file a claim.
To simplify the process, have your order number or purchase invoice ready.
If you cannot go to the store, contact us for support.
