Will IKEA contact me before my assembly appointment?
Once you have placed your order and activated your Taskrabbit account, Tasker will contact you. It will also send you a reminder before the scheduled assembly service.
Once you have placed an order with the assembly service and activated your Taskrabbit account, you will be assigned a Tasker with whom you can chat via the application or the web and who can contact you by phone. You can chat to your assigned Tasker at any time to arrange the details of the appointment until the assembly is completed by accessing ‘My tasks’ in your Taskrabbit account.
Remember that you need to activate your Taskrabbit account to see the details of the assembly and contact the Tasker.
Your Tasker will be assigned from the moment the task is booked until 24 hours before the assembly.
You will also receive a reminder about the service. On the agreed date and time, Tasker will arrive at your home and complete the installation. Please note that Tasker is not responsible for the disposal of assembly materials. The items to be assembled must be in the correct rooms, as Tasker will not move items between rooms.
Partners other than TaskRabbit may use different contact methods. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that you will be contacted in the same way or at the same time by other partners. It is therefore important that you are at the address during the agreed time window.
