Lingonberry almond tart 

Ingredients

Salmon
- 250g ground almonds
- 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry
- 400g sugar
- 5 egg yolks + 2 whole eggs
- 1.2dl water
- 100g butter
- VAGGSÅNG lingonberry spread

 

Preparation

  1. Bring a saucepan with 300g of sugar and the water to a boil. Let it boil for 5 minutes, until you get a light syrup.
  2. In a bowl, beat the remaining sugar, egg yolks, whole eggs, melted butter, and ground almonds. Gradually add the hot syrup in a stream, stirring constantly.
  3. Line a tart pan with the puff pastry and pour the cream mixture over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 to 30 minutes, until the surface is golden.
  4. Let it cool slightly and spread a thin layer of cranberry jam on top, to give it shine and a touch of acidity that balances the sweetness of the almond. Cover the tart with IKEA lingonberry spread and serve.
