Wash this product before using it for the first time.
This product is pre-treated with vegetable oil.
If corrosion or food stains arise, or if food burns and sticks, the pot/pan can be cleaned with steel wool or an abrasive sponge and then re-seasoned.

NOT recommendedKristineI followed the seasoning instructions from the IKEA manual, but I still don’t enjoy using this product. After washing, it always develops rust—I’m not sure if it’s due to our water or storage area, but it’s the only cookware that does this. Also, when used on max heat on an induction stove, it burns easily. This product is just weird and disappointing overall.1
