365-day return policy

It's OK to change your mind

If you’re not totally satisfied with your IKEA purchase you can return new and unopened products within 365 days, together with your proof of purchase, for a full refund.  

We do not accept returns on plants, cut fabric, custom countertops, and as-is products.  We are unable to refund or exchange your items if your merchandise is found to be modified from its original form when purchased, dirty, stained, or damaged.  

Love it or exchange it

When it comes to mattresses, we offer something special. It is important to us that you love your new mattress. So, if after a while you discover that it is too firm or too soft, just bring back the mattress and try out a new one. There's no rush. Provided the goods are not found by IKEA to be dirty, marked, damaged, or abused.

No-nonsense return policy

Return the unassembled item in its original packaging within 365 days, together with your receipt for either an exchange or a full refund.

  • Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment. 
  • Purchases made with cash: a cash refund will be issued. 
  • Purchases made with a credit card: credit will be issued to the original card. The original card and credit card slip must be presented at the time of return.

Our 365-day return policy does not apply to cut fabric, plants, used beddings, kitchen/electrical appliances, products from AS-IS, food products, goods ordered to your specifications e.g. custom-made worktops, damaged items resulting from misuse, abuse, normal wear & tear, and incorrect self-assembly and products damaged after leaving the store.
