Price Protection Policy Conditions: 

Upon presentation of proof of purchase (receipt/tax invoice).

• The price of an item purchased is reduced within 30 days of the original purchase date
• The item must have an identical article number
• The refund must be requested/performed during the promotional sale period during which the original price of the item is reduced
• Item must be part of the IKEA Malaysia range 

Exclusions:

• Cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts already applied to the same item.
• Price Protection is not applicable to:
  • Services
  • Food products
  • Items purchased in As-is

Refund Method:
Approved price protection requests will be refunded to the original method of payment. Contact us for further assistance.

Oops Assurance for IKEA Family members

Be on the safe side when you transport and assemble your IKEA furniture.

Things don't always go as planned. That's when it's nice to know you're in safe hands with IKEA Family. Enter your IKEA Family card number when you pay, and you'll automatically get 14 days of Oops Assurance.

If you're unlucky and damage your products during transport or assembly within 14 days of purchase, we'll replace the damaged part or item free of charge with the same article number.

Terms of the policy:

• The policy only applies if you enter your IKEA Family card when purchasing the item, either online or in-store.
• The policy is valid for 14 days from the date you purchased the product or received the product upon delivery and is strictly limited to a one-time application per product.
• This claim is subject to IKEA’s review and confirmation that the damage was incurred during transit or assembly.
• The policy does not cover products purchased in As-Is, food products, live plants, as well as custom-made kitchen worktops and wall panels.
• To exchange for a new part or item from IKEA for free, you must bring your proof of purchase (receipt/tax invoice), and the damaged part or product to the IKEA store. If you are unable to travel to the store, we can send you a new part or product if you cover the transportation cost. Contact us for further assistance.

Besides enjoying special lower prices on Family range products and selected Benefit Items each month, every RM1 spent at the IKEA stores entitles you to 1 IKEA Family Point.

Points earned in the current year will expire 2 years later on 31 Dec, based on the year the IKEA Family points are earned.

Example:
Points earned on 15 Nov 2021 will expire on 31 Dec 2023.
Points earned on 31 Dec 2022 will expire on 31 Dec 2024.

If an item you purchased goes on sale, or the price is reduced, you may be eligible for price protection.
IKEA Family members are entitled to a 30-day price protection (membership number must be entered at the time of purchase). You must have a proof of purchase (receipt/tax invoice). 

If your product breaks during transport home or during assembly, you may be able to use "Oops Assurance" within 14 days to have the product replaced free of charge, provided you entered your IKEA Family membership when you purchased the product. If not, unfortunately, this policy won't apply.

The IKEA Family membership was used during the purchase.

If you scanned/indicated your IKEA Family membership when you bought the item in-store or online, as a member you can use "Oops Assurance" within 14 days and exchange for a new part or item for free. To check if you entered your membership at the time of purchase, you can Log in to your IKEA Family account and check 'My Purchases'. You will also be able to find your receipt there.

Remember that this is an assurance that only applies once per product. You will have the following options when you take advantage of the assurance: 

• Visit nearest IKEA stores.
• Bring the damaged product, your IKEA Family membership card and your receipt/tax invoice for verification.
• Contact IKEA customer service.
• If you do not have the opportunity to travel to the store, we can send you a new part or product if you pay for the transport.
• Write "I want to talk to a person" in the chat or call us at 03 7952 7575. Please make sure you have your receipt/tax invoice ready when contacting.

The IKEA Family membership was not used during the purchase.

"Oops assurance" is an exclusive benefit for IKEA Family members who entered their membership during purchase. If you are not a member yet or have not used your membership in your in-store or online purchase, you will not be able to use the Oops Assurance. However, you can still contact IKEA customer service online or in-store to check if there is a spare part.
