IKEA Family points and rewards

Yes, purchases of IKEA Gift Cards, transactions regarding delivery, assembly and any other services provided by external companies will not be recorded nor will it earn you any Bonus Points.

For online purchases, IKEA Family points are credited once your order status is Ready for Delivery. Make sure your 16-digit IKEA Family membership number is added during checkout. 

You’ll get 3x IKEA Family points on your first purchase during your birthday month when you shop at IKEA stores, IKEA.my, the Swedish Restaurant, Swedish Bistro, Swedish Food Market or Swedish Café.

You can check your point balance by log in to the member’s portal or at any of the in-store Family kiosk.

Log in to your IKEA Family account to check your points balance. You can also check your balance at an IKEA Family kiosk in-store. 

If you return an item that earned IKEA Family points, the corresponding points will be deducted from your account. 

Unfortunately, no. Transferring of IKEA Family points to a different card account, bringing forward or extending the expiry date is not permitted. Unused and expired IKEA Family points will not be reinstated.

Points earned during the year expire on 31 December two years later. For example, points earned anytime in 2026 will expire on 31 December 2028.
