If using only 2 brackets on a 120cm shelf, the distance between the brackets should be 70-80cm.

Cause you need 3 different length of screws to fix it, if not the screw will jet into other side and the plastic L support thickness varies. It would hav been ideal if IKEA had provided the screws.5
