  • Mount the short side on a 20 cm deep shelf and the long side on a 30 cm deep shelf.

    Screws are not included.

    Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

    If you are uncertain about what type of fixing devices to use, please contact your local hardware store.

    If using only 2 brackets on a 120cm shelf, the distance between the brackets should be 70-80cm.

Must haveVictoriaSturdy, pretty, very important to use in supporting your shelves. Wish it had a more powerful design as the hidden metal hooks are a soft spot when you need protection/safety. It comes without any screws and that was a big letdown for me because after having tons of all sorts of screws at hand, this particular short and broad screw needed to fit the bracket to the shef was neither in my collection, nor online, nor in my Ikea screws set. I have no time going to the hardware store for just 1 screw. All my Ikea shelves like Lack, Bergshult come with brackets and screws provided by the company, why give us trouble for just 1 specific size screw?3

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
