Difficult to get it straight and don’t tell you a few thingsAnonymous reviewerMy biggest gripe about IKEA is that you cannot get all the information from the website. For example, I needed to buy a screw and plug set for this unit and multiple units of it. This added to the wait time.
Then I was told it will handle 15 kilos and it does it under certain conditions. It all depends on the screws as well as how deep you embed them into the wall. The short ones will not hold. Needed to buy longer hex headed ones with their own plug set.
This product gets dirty quickly and can fade to a dull colour quickly. I hate to clean them up again.
The installation process is a pain and you should use a level, preferably a laser level to get it right.
The worst part is the multiple rounds of fittings you need to do to get it right, else you will end up with a bit of a sag.
I have stressed the system a bit and found that leaving a gap between the screw, could be less that 2mm and it will spoil the experience.
Overall, I can say that the product is OK and need to be used in conjunction with good deep screws that tightly fit. Use a laser level for sure as well as make multiple measurements if required.

Strong wall bracketsVictoriaWhat is special in this big Lack shelf is the metal bracket that make it great to display heavy items. What makes it lame is the extremely weak surface, it gets rubbed, peeled too easily, you have to take extra care of Lack series, they just ready to crumble due to very soft materials used. But for displaying heavy items away from anyone's reach, these is so good, I got 7 of these around the house!
