The lid has soft-closing hinges, which prevent the risk of getting your fingers caught when closing it.

The ring on the inside of the bin hides and holds the waste bag in place.

The pedal bin is easy to move since it has a grip-friendly overhang on the back.

This bin is also suitable if you want to sort paper cartons, plastic, bottles, newspapers or other waste that takes up space.

The bin is designed with rounded corners to make it easier to clean.

UV-light protected, which helps the plastic last longer.

KNÖCKLA pedal bin is also available in a smaller size with 2 inner containers – perfect for those who want to sort waste that does not take up much space or who want to empty the bin often.

A good place for waste sorting is in the kitchen, and as close to the sink as possible since it helps you avoid spills. This is also where most waste is generated.

Poor Gum for Labeling.AvThe product is good and we liked it. But our joy and pleasure are gone when I tried to remove the big labels from the bin. The gum quality is so bad that even after soaking for one hour and put hard efforts in removing label, the Gum is stick badly and it spoiled the beauty of the bin. One the gum should have been of good quality. Your experts should study the science behind the gum labeling and select the right gum. In fact the label should have been pasted at the back or bottom of the bin rather than in the front. This is the second product from IKEA that gave me this issue. It was tooth brush holder. When I tried to remove the label the color came off the item making ot ugly. Time for IKEA to look such minute details.3

Good looks, bad function.Anonymous reviewerIt looks great. So good that I actually got two of them. However the bad thing is that soft close mechanism. The soft close doesn’t always work and that’s a bummer at this price. Quality overall seems decent. They are slim but wide, which we found works for our usage. The rim given to mount a garbage bag feels flimsy. Time will tell how much value these bring into our home. Although for the price, I think there are better options available in the market if one is ok compromising with aesthetics.3
