Fantastic. Much much better a lot of the expensive pans we have had. The heat transfer is uniform and the omelette comes out perfect. The weight of the pan is light enough for easy handling but heavy enough for good heat placement. Love it

Material

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
