Managing your IKEA purchase records: receipts, invoices and pro-forma requests

If you are an IKEA Family member or an IKEA Business Network customer, you can find your receipts and invoices online by logging into your account and navigating your Purchase History. Invoices are also attached to your order confirmation email.

There are various ways to access your purchase documents, whether you're looking for a lost receipt, a copy of your invoice, or information on pro-forma invoices.

Retrieving your receipts

If you are an IKEA Family member, you can easily find your digital receipts online. Simply log into your IKEA account on IKEA.com and navigate to your Purchase History. Here, you can view the details of any specific purchase, access your receipt, and print it if needed.
Important Note: If your IKEA Family account was not registered at the time of purchase, unfortunately you won’t be able to retrieve the receipt for that purchase.

Obtaining a copy of your invoice

Your invoice is primarily found in two locations:
  • Order Confirmation email: For online orders, your invoice is typically attached to your order confirmation email. Please check your inbox after placing an order.
  • Purchase History (for registered customers): If you were logged into your IKEA Family or IKEA Business/IKEA Business Network customer account during an online or in-store purchase, you can find your invoice in your purchase history on IKEA.com.
 What is Credit Note?
  • IKEA generates credit notes for all refunds and exchange requests.
  • A credit note is the opposite of a tax invoice and is mandatory for all refund/exchange processes.
  • Customers receive email notification when a credit note is generated, indicating the start of the refund/exchange process.
  • Credit notes cannot be used for purchases.
  • Customers cannot add any amount to a credit note.
  • Credit notes serve solely as a reference that a refund/exchange is in progress.
  • For more details please type "Talk to an agent" in chat or contact us on 1800-419-4532.
If you have checked these options and are still unable to locate your invoice, you can contact IKEA Customer Service online by typing “I want to talk to a human” in the chat, or by calling 1800-419-4532.
