What spare parts can I get from IKEA and how much do they cost?

IKEA provides spare parts, and it is offered free of cost.

Spare parts are essential pieces you need to assemble your IKEA furniture and/or products. These include screws, wrenches, allen keys and other such fittings. Spare parts have a 6-8 digit identification code (also known as a spare part number) and are listed in the first few pages of the products’ Assembly Manual.
 

You can find the spare part number by checking:

  • The Assembly Manual included with the product. If you don’t have the physical copy of the assembly instructions, you can find it online by searching for the product on the IKEA website. Then, go to the product page and click Product details, then Assembly and documents to access the assembly instructions.
  • Your Purchase history: If your purchase is linked with your IKEA Family account, log in to your account and go to the Purchases, where you will find Order spare parts button. Once you click the button, you will be able to access a list of products with available spare parts and the spare part number you need.
 

The “Order spare parts” button will not appear if:

  • the product does not contain any spare parts in the packaging
  • the product is out-of-stock or has been discontinued
  • you have cancelled or returned the order

Spare parts for home appliances

You can get spare parts, replacement parts, and additional parts for home appliances if they are part of the product you have purchased. This includes IKEA home appliances. Here is a list of IKEA home appliances that you can get spare parts for if they are included in the original product:

1. Do I have to pay for the spare part request?
It is pre-covered by IKEA Sweden, and it is for free.
2. In how many days spare parts will be delivered to my address?
Spare parts will be couriered within 8 to 10 days, after placing the request.
3. How spares parts will be delivered?
  • DHL Logistics private limited will deliver the spares to your location directly shipped from IKEA Sweden.
  • DHL Courier team will contact you and request for address proof, and KYC to be updated as per customs guidelines.
  • KYC details should match with the delivery address.
4. What If I don't find spare parts?
